Painting the bonnet starts with the restoration. The painting and assembling process did take us 4 weeks.
- after disassembly we discovered some issues to take care of
- reassembling the bonnet and trial fitting, including light and bumpers
- disassembly again for filler
- 2. reassembly and applying a glossy black to uncover all uneven areas
- After sorting out a smooth surface allover, the insinde and inner panels were painted
- mounting and trail fitting again
- applying SICCA FLEX, and another internal paint
- leadding the edges
- final paint together with car
